Where we are today

Now six generations later, Pistorius Farms operates a modern, progressive business in Macon and Christian Counties in Central Illinois.

Pistorius Farms consists of a mix of owned, rented and crop-shared land of row crops -- managed by its biggest asset -- experienced, knowledgeable and forward-thinking men, who value the land and the heritage that comes with it.

Tim and Pete Pistorius, plus Craig Paulek, make up the core of the operation. Their spouses contribute to the farm and collectively, they draw upon the strengths of each other -- contributing their special skills and talents to create a solid farming operation. When needed, seasonal workers are added to the mix.

Tim focuses on grain quality, grain handling, grain transportation, fertility, water drainage, and tillage.

Pete manages the marketing of grain, input purchases and crop planning.

Craig is the primary maintenance and repairs "go to" guy.
