Tim Pistorius

At 61, Tim Pistorius represents the fifth generation of Pistorius men who have farmed in Macon County. He provides more than 35 years experience in farming and serves as the bridge between generations. Tim and his wife, Carolyn, have one son (Pete) and three daughters(Jill, Katie, and Molly), plus nine grandchildren. Both Tim and Carolyn are active in the community of Blue Mound and the Zion Chapel Church. Tim also has been involved with the Macon County 4-H Board.

With his 35 years experience, Tim is able to recognize any problems with the operation and take action when necessary. Besides his day-to-day activities on the farm, Tim is responsible for grain storage, handling, transportation and quality. Furthermore, Tim has expertise in fertility and farm drainage which is a great asset to landowner profitability.
